Welcome back all, and hopefully everyone has enjoyed the start of the season. As the nights get longer, I just wanted to share some safety messages for mid-week training:
- The CHHS car park can get very busy, especially during the earlier training sessions. With the darker evenings, it is especially important that youngers players are not walking/ running up the final row of the car park, unaccompanied, given the risk of cars pulling out of the parking spaces. It is vital that you do not drop off in the last aisle even if it is raining, please park and walk your child to the gate. This is critical as dropping off in that area is dangerous as there are many children/pedestrians in that space and also causes a bottle neck as you have to reverse out.
- The entrance point for training is the single gate, the exit point is the double gate at the bottom. To aid with transition between sessions, please arrange to meet your child at the bottom gate.
- Parents of players in the U11’s, and below, MUST stay on site for the duration of training. In the event you are unable to stay, please make arrangements for an alternative adult to assume responsibility for your child, and that your child and the coaching team are aware of the nominated adult. Please note, this cannot be a coach who is actively involved in the training session. JUNO UTD coaches are not responsible for taking your child to the toilet during training sessions and the nominated adult must be available to do so and or in case of injury.
- For U12’s and above, please ensure your emergency contact details are updated on the FA portal.
